Blacks is a recruitment organisation specialising in the provision of fully flexible blue collar workers to the food processing, manufacturing and logistics industries.
We are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join us on our clients busy distribution premises in Liverpool.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be based in a distribution warehouse.
The main duties of the role will be the use of LLOP (lower level order picker) to pick the products into certain locations and stack the items on pallets. Colleagues are targeted and measured on pick rate where the target is 150 picks per hour and a comprehensive induction followed by ongoing training and coaching is provided to ensure target delivery is reached and sustained. This is a fast paced, target driven environment which can be stressful and pressured.
This role includes some heavy lifting and repetitive actions in the picking and stacking of the cages, a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and awareness of other colleagues whilst using the trucks is required. Other duties may include loading and unloading and site hygiene.
Successful candidates will have a full induction of the site plus all candidates have to pass LLOP\'s training (low level order picker)
Candidates will start work on a temporary contract for services and after 12 weeks all candidates will be offered permanent employment directly with an employer B&M.
We have a range of shifts available including mornings, afternoons, nights and permanent weekends.
There is a subsidised canteen providing hot and cold food, drinks and snacks as well as car parking onsite.
Hours & Days of Work / Pay
6am-2pm + 2pm – 10pm - £6.70 per hour if under 25 / £7.20 if 25+
10pm – 6am - £6.95 per hour if under 25 / £7.20 if 25+
Weekend days Fri – Sun: (6am - 7pm) - £7.20 per hour everyone
Weekend nights Fri – Sun: (5pm – 6am) - £7.45 per hour everyone
